Newly separated mom of two teenagers in search of better earning potential?
I have been separated for about 3 weeks (thank God in a friendly way) and find myself having to start making money again after 9 years of being a homemaker. My kids are 14 and 17 (read expensive) and I do not want to go next to their own devices every night … During my last 9 years I have tried a web based store (store-in-a-box kind of thing) that made no money at all, and I received my certification as a Reiki Master with the intention of starting therapy "spa" at home … but how do you get customers? And there will be enough money? I took a job last week as a sales associate car – hated it! I met with Farmers Insurance to become an agent licesnsed, but I do not think insurance sales rewarding sounds and tracks to farmers and has very strict quotas to be met. Where do I find a decent job pay / career best potential revenue? I love to do something based on the Internet if I know for a fact that is legit and works!
I agree with the response he said to try to work some hours at a spa, as it is a great way to get customers. If you decide you want to do some private service cards may be dealt customers with your cell phone or personal information so that customers can contact you, apart from the spa (in terms of competition policy spa). If this is unsuccessful, you really should consider meeting with a local employment agency (as a "temporary" agency). Sometimes agencies are desperate to cover. Even if these positions are entry level, which can quickly lead to a different higher paying jobs within the same organization.
