What is the best customer tracking / sales software application for a small business?
I have a small tutoring business and need a way to follow leads, market research information and analysis running on my data. We also need to be able to follow things like number of hours the student has used, the amount spent, the total bill and what lead channel was used so we need to be able to customize fields and tables. I would rather have an online service (SoS) host this instead of having to install, but this is not a requirement. We are also looking for something that can be easily implemented and supported. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good solution? If you are speaking from experience it would be great if you can tell me how to use the implementation, usability and cost. We are a small shop (3 employees) and we are looking for something economical, but with a great tool. Any comments is greatly appreciated!
ACT is a good program. I was an insurance salesman for about 5 years and have had to track some of the things you listed. Has totally customizable fields where if you do not have a field you wish you can enter it. You can also download information to Excel for graphics and easy entry.
