Vanderbilt College Application?
Hi I am a senior applying early decision Vandy and I was looking for some comfort or not lol tranquility. I am a first generation college applicants for my family and I am very nervous. I have a 660 reading and 690 math and 680 writing. I have a LAW 30. my total unweighted average is 3.87, which makes me the top 7 percent of my class. I have a lot of E / C and I am president and director of many of them. My essay is Well, I would say above average. I can play baseball, have an advantage in one act, and sing a solo and quartet of children. I am president of Student Council. Y rec letters are the strongest part of my application. What are my chances?
depends on which college is being applied. a 690 in math for the engineering school is not exceptional, reading, writing, but strong and may be more suitable for college of arts and sciences. On the other hand, applies Blair with a strong background in stage performance and singing would be good. ACT is a little low (by comparison), but you are busy with many activities make you "well rounded." in all honesty, you are asking this question because you realize you're on the fence, and unfortunately, that's all I can say so. is a coin flip. for your sake, I hope you land in your favor, but I'm not in the review board. probably come down to rehearsals. i had scores similar, higher mathematics, but lower in verbal – but the competition has become a bit more difficult (even in just 7 years!). good luck!
