Keep Your Online Lead Generation Moving in These Crazy Times

We face things everyday that can cause us to get sidetracked. You might have family get in the way, calls here and there, or that message you just got from your downline.

It’ll cause you to set everything aside at that moment and then get back to it later. Problem is there’s a good chance you might not remember it and go on to something else.

What happens then?

Late at night you’ll just be laying there or right before it’s time to hit the sack and BOOM!

“Oh crap, I forgot to do that!”

You either get up, work on it then, or let it go till tomorrow.

All this is unless you have your productivity in check and your organizing skills in place with generating leads and doing everything else that must be done that day.

Your productivity is very important and if you constantly get distracted by this and that, your business is going to slowly deteriorate because you’ll forget this and that.

The first thing that is very important is limit your distractions. This may sound difficult and chances are it may be, especially if you have a family and kids at home. That opens it up for TONS of distraction.

Nonetheless, to keep your business moving and on the most effective path, you need to figure out a way to limit your distractions when it’s “business” time.

You’ll need to lay down some rules and make it to where when you need to do work, you do it and you do it without any distractions in your online lead generation.

This means turning off your cell phone if you are working on other things that really require your attention, turning off your email alerts, and staying away from Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, whatever social networks you’re a part of.

Whenever you get distracted by something which is bound to happen in this information overload age, it has been shown to take up to 20 minutes to get back on task.

All that means is you lose precious time during the day for your leads generation and basic tasks.

The second thing you need to do is form a schedule.

Yes, the most basic of all things. It’s very important because it will get you in the routine of doing what needs to be done and your body will subconsciously get into the routine as well.

Now, if you work mostly from home, some believe that it’s better to work when you want to, when you want to do it otherwise it will mess up your “flow” of doing things.

You may think this will interfere with your freedom but not if it’s structured properly.
