The sales staff that no economies of Grant Cardone Marketing

Economies do not exist until someone buys it! And economies cease to exist if the sale fails. Then the managers decide "Customers are not buying anything so I just cut off heads, cut budgets, bending and reduce our way to greatness! "

Prospecting, interviewing customers to correctly identify problems and opportunities and work with them find adequate solutions appears to be a set of skills lost an entire generation. How did this happen?

Two major changes brought about this change. In the 50's, 60's and 70's, almost every company had a sales force that is required and depends on things like;. exploration, the creation of customer product knowledge, application knowledge and sales skills <strong> Great companies are based in large sales teams that were responsible for creating opportunities not only to sell them. </ Strong> The sales team was the motor, which carries the load, driving the company's income! In the years 90 sales teams are considered expensive to maintain, inefficient, unwieldy and shifted the responsibility for driving revenue for the marketing department. The theory was that the company could create demand for products and services through advertising, promotion and tricks then the company could only harvest flood of requests to call centers or desktop computer. The second major change is taking place of traditional marketing marketing Internet.

However, what happens when customers leave to search and browse the network and the phone stops ringing? Because the sale is a lost art solutions limited to improve the publicity, even large claims about the importance of customer satisfaction, lower prices (again) and tricks like increase without payment, rebates, zero percent interest and free trips. Companies began to spend more money on advertising and Google search, then all sales force makes wages and commissions. While these changes create marketing breakthroughs in the ability to reach more potential customers, the fact is that no do not have to look far to see the corpses of companies that relied on the market and ignored the sales team!, Circuit City, I heard Automotive Dilliards, Sears, Washington Mutual, Wachovia and Merrill Lynch. These companies not because of their dependence on their marketing campaigns and their inability to sell their products! marketing without a computer trained sales is a "one way" of the vehicle, making the company only activated at the point of marketing and then become passive at the point of creating a opportunity or even the closure of the created.

These methods of marketing virtually eliminated management's expectations for sales of equipment and skills. This is a critical problem in a recession, perhaps this case the cause, which customers are constantly seeking new products and services, and therefore are immune to the wiles marketing and promotion. The focus of consumers now in court costs and unless your product or service can help you save money without any investment, simply not paying attention. Search engine optimization is useless when potential customers stop searching.

Business <strong> must </ strong> re-creating real sales skills and sales teams because without them nothing happens! Administration, marketing and customer satisfaction does not sell products. Vendors sell products and should have well-trained salespeople who can (1) create a vision and (2) how to determine what is needed, (3) how your product or service can meet that need, and (4) how to justify a purchase decision. The lost art of real salesmanship must be restored to to create the income of a company desires.

A well trained sales team, not management, not the Internet, no customer satisfaction and marketing not the only thing that can create customer profitably in this economy. Economies exist only when someone is a perspective and then sells that perspective a product or service and then Exchange with your company. Vendors unity of the whole economy and without them we have no economy.
