Political ideology Help, please!?
I'm having trouble classifying myself as liberal or conservative economically economically for a task of the university. I am in the middle, but I would like other opinions. I think the government has to cut defense spending and other areas because the problem of more than overspending and the budget deficit. I agree with the need for social security, welfare, Medicare and Medicaid – as we have now. Without But government help too, more than what we have now could lead to future generations that rely heavily on government assistance such deficits and additional budget. I do not agree with universal healthcare because it would be second class in the U.S. with long waiting times – although it works fine in smaller population countries such as Canada and Norway. I also believe that large companies should be regulated by the government in terms of pollution, monopolies, and the minimum wage. Finally, I agree with progressive taxation.
